CfP: Signal Processing Image Communication Special Issue on Light Field Imaging

Light field (LF) imaging has received a great deal of attention due to its ability to capture a rich spatio-angular light ray representation that enables highly realistic and interactive visual experiences and opens new capabilities in machine perception.

This special issue will focus on the latest advances related to high-fidelity, ultra-realistic LF imaging systems and their applications. Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality manuscripts reporting original scientific works that will contribute to the future roadmap of the LF imaging technology.

The deadline for the Special Issue on Light Field Imaging has just been extended to September 1st.
The CfP page (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/signal-processing-image-communication/call-for-papers/light-field-imaging) will soon be updated with this information.

In any case, since Signal Processing Image Communication uses a Virtual Special Issue (VSI) model, once your manuscript is accepted, it will be published in the latest issue of the journal. Then, once all the manuscripts of the special issue are completed, they will be added to the “VSI: LF Imaging” article collection.
