Cant get it too work

Hi Kevin. I had to set my PCs again and strugling to get LICSS to work.

The error I am getting is Unexpected exception caught in CdkInterfaceDLL: no default Sun JRE found. I look around and found that this is perhaps about Java. I checked my JAVA installation and with all I could see is that this should work.

Do you have idea or tips on how I can solve. This is happening on two different Laptop with

Office LSTC and Office 365 installed. I believe I followed the installation instructions to copy the .jars and .dll in the respective directories.

I would very much appreciate if you could help please.

Hi Bernhard. As you are getting an error from CdkInterfaceDLL your system must be finding it OK, so that's good. I think the Java error is genuine. I don't know whether you are using 32 or 64 bit Excel but the easiest thing to do is to ensure that both 32 and 64 bit versions of Java are installed from the Java install site - I think you are probably getting a mismatch between the version of Java you are using and the version of Excel you have. Let me know how you get on...

Bingo. Found the 32 bit version and after the installation it worked.
