Hi everyone,

Happy New Year in advance!

We have set the time and place for our next meeting. Next Monday, Jan 5 in WWU Biology 139, from 6:30-9:00 pm. It will be good to start the new year of lichening. As usual, please let me know if you are planning to come. (And if you need further instructions on the location). Helps make sure there are enough ‘scopes. Bring things to look at and share and your plans for the new year.

Hi Elise,

It will be good to see a visitor from the south! Attached is a map of some of the WWU campus. I assume you will have some sort of travel map app to get you in that vicinity: if not, let me know. We meet in room 139 of the Biology building (BI, circled). You can park for free in any “C” lot south of there (marked “Y”). Lot 9G (“X”) usually has metered parking after hours although I’m never sure that will be available. From 9G the meeting room is accessible through the door on the north end of BI. If you are walking up from the south, enter on the 2nd floor through doors to the east and take stairs or elevator down.
