Is this project dead?

It sounds like it was a labor of love, but I get that it would have been nice for the author to make some reasonable money.   Just wondering...

As long I'm not dead and my G2 is functional and in my possession, the project is not dead :-)

Also the source code will survive me.

I am passionate about coding and guitar since I'm 12 (now almost 57).

I wrote the editor primarily for myself because nothing was available for the G2 after a few years owning it (I had written editors for LXP-1 and LXP-5 using MAX [now called PureData] on Mac early 90's)

 

Problem is once you get something for free, the brain sets its value to 0.

Paying afterwards is seen as a waste of money (they call it "the wall of the first cent").
 
Even more so when "this something you get for free" already does the job well enough.

I've obviously been too nice for the good of this project :-D

Having seen recently the BOSS GT-1000 editor on Android  connected to the BOSS GT-1000 CORE via Bluetooth MIDI interface (https://www.thomannmusic.com/cme_widi_jack_din_5_midi_bundle.htm), I said (again) to myself that it would be very nice being able to (<- my main driver for application development) use the MPXG2Editor without the need for a computer. And this time there is a solution.

Given the number of people in this group and the rarity of the G2 nowadays I guess it would be hard to gather enough money for funding the development of a Mobile App.

But maybe the number of potential users could be higher since there would be no need for a computer.

Anyway I'm unemployed right now, so if you have enough money or BTC you got for nothing and think "it would be very nice being able to", please let me know :-D
