RumbleDB is a fairly new application which tries to be a JSON equivalent to XQuery, namely, it can query JSON data with an SQL-like language and on large scale if desired.  I haven't worked with it yet but it seems like a brilliant piece of work.  It  has an ability to work with Jupyter notebooks via a server that it launches.

It occurs to me that leo-server (or more likely Leo Bridge) ought to be able to play in that game, too.  If we can make that work, we would be able to make RumbleDB interaction fairly seamless.  Maybe I could adapt VR3 to use it, or maybe a new plugin would be needed.  Anyway, it seems worth looking at.

I'm in the middle of another project just now so I can't get into it until later.  From the point of view of making leo-server work with RumbleDB, Felix would be the obvious person but he's probably still busy with leo-integ even if he wanted to.

Interesting idea. I've bookmarked the link. Please feel free to create an enhancement issue.
