All issues scheduled for Leo 6.3 have been completed. Expect Leo 6.3 as scheduled this Friday, October 23.

Please do not push anything to devel, even if you have do have administrator rights.

Please test devel and report any problems immediately.  Thanks.

Edward

P.S. This week I will be transitioning to my sabbatical schedule. During the sabbatical I'll respond to all emails and bug reports. The only difference will be that my attention will be on learning new computer technologies.

I can report that I'm using 'Leo 6.3-devel, devel branch, build 9a2087bcfb' w/o any issues on Fedora 32.

In addition I can also report, that I can switch w/o issues b/w Leo 6.2.1 final & Leo 6.3-devel ...

It looks like the switch from 'use-docks' to 'w/o docks again' works fine.

With kind regards,

Viktor

One thing I noticed when testing ' Leo 6.3-devel' is related to 'LeoPy.leo' vs 'LeoPyRef.leo'. - From my test notes:

### 2020-10-18 ~ 20:45 (UTC)

Try to 'Open Specific Leo File (OSLF)' ...

* OSFL > CheetSheet.leo - OK.
* OSFL > LeoDocs.leo - OK.
* OSFL > LeoDist.leo - OK.
* OSFL > LeoPy.leo - OK? -> Opens 'LeoPyRef.leo' outline ...
* OSFL > LeoPyRef.leo - OK.
* OSFL > myLeoSettings.leo - OK.
* OSFL > quickstart.leo - OK.
* OSFL > scripts.leo - OK.
* OSFL > leoSettings.leo - OK.
* OSFL > unittest.leo - OK.

###

Is this something expected?

With kind regards,

Viktor

PS & FTR: This is the first time (in my environment) that all OSFL items open / succeed w/o complaining about any missing files.

Thanks for this thorough testing! Yes, this is expected. The LeoPy.leo menu item opens leoPy.leo if it exists.  Otherwise, the menu item opens LeoPyRef.leo.

In contrast, the LeoPyRef.leo menu item always opens LeoPyRef.leo.
