I've fixed a critical issues in both Interlacer and Pitch test. If you are the owner of Lentigram version 2 please upgrade to the latest version available here:

Hi Giovanni,

When I installed the new version I got the warning window again…

I created some pitch tests with the previous version, are those still accurate?

Best regards,

Hi Daniel, unfortunately that warning will appear on Windows each time I make a new release until enough people download it.

The bug is actually an old one, introduced at the beginning of November 2020 but nobody seems to have noticed it, myself included. I inspected the code and I'm quite confident the pitch and the interlaced image is actually correct, which I guess this is why nobody reported it back to me.

The main problem is that the pitch test is not correctly aligned and it may be more difficult to read. Following the incorrectly aligned pitch test produced by version 2.1.1.

Here the pitch test produced by Lentigram 2.1.2 with bars correctly aligned.

As you can see they both give the same result. I would still suggest you to reprint it as the second version is, to my opinion, easier to read.

Giovanni

Ah!
I was having an absolute nightmare getting the pitch test to work. I thought I’d lost my touch :-)
Thanks for updating

I guess this may explain your previous email to me about  the pitch test.

The pitch test was giving correct results, but the bars were not starting with the same color which may have caused the confusion.
