Darkroom inductions 4th/5th may 2026

Hi all 

If anyone is interested, I'm offering a darkroom induction. I can offer one induction this coming Monday, 4th of May ( afternoon, thinking 1pm ) and Tuesday, 5th May ( 7pm ) . I will have two slots available. 

I'm aware this is short notice, if you are interested, but can't make this one, please let me know by responding to this email, and I will try for the following Tuesday as well.

 

Monday: possibility of two inductions proposed times 1pm-3pm and 4-6pm 

Tudsday : just the one induction at 7pm

Time for induction (estimate): 1 - 2 hours 

Have you developed film before?: 

Please let me know if you have any dark room experience in your reply so i can tailor the induction accordingly.

No experience no problem 👍

If you are new to film photography and the way of the dark side and want to try it out no problem, let me no in your reply. i am also happy to run through your first film development and photo printing. Just bear in mind this will add time to the induction. (option to split this off into a second session  )   

What do you need to bring : 

Pen and notepad ( something you can see under red safe light ) 

optional but advised : 

undeveloped black and white film 35mm

 If the Tuesday 7pm slot is still free I'd like to take it. I have an undeveloped b&w film ready to go. I have been shown how develop once before at Wakefiled College but this was 18 months ago. I had a reasonable success by myself immediately after but not had the access or opportunity to do any more since and my brain fog doesn't help. I'd also lile to have a quick refresh as to how to use the equipment to create a photogram as this is a handy quick activity I'd like to explore further.
