Electromagnetic Field 2026 village

Hi all,

I've just registered our Leeds Hackspace village for Electromagnetic Field 2026! We've very generously been allowed to borrow Panzer's large 15x12ft tent to use as the main village tent again.

Features this year will include:

• Better lighting! Last year we rushed to Screwfix to get some lights (I think? I dunno), this year I'll either buy a couple of LED strip lights and hang them, or bring one of the 150W low-bay LED lights from my garage
• A combo toaster oven/hob borrowed from Hendrik! This made an appearance in 2024 and will be making an appearance again
• Potentially a fridge too! Hendrik once again might have one of these, it's subject to being checked however
• Maybe a sink-type thing — last EMF we discovered a plastic washing up bowl fit perfectly inside an upturned club mate crate; this year I might attempt something a bit fancier with a little water pump and a drain tank so we can attempt to do washing up a bit easier

Please feel free to bring things to tart up the place a bit! I'm looking at getting a flag made too if we can get a long pole so we can easily be found.

I have an idea for a better water container than the one I got us last time(seen in photo). Someone else will have to grab one, though as I'm not sure yet how I'm getting there, so might have to limit what I'm taking :)
