to Ledger
Hi,
I am trying to set up YNAB style budgeting with ledger. I have created automated virtual postings for various categories.
At the end of the month, I would like to transfer the balance from the budget:current:category to budget:accrued:category

Here is a sample budget file with virtual transactions:

= /^Income:Salary/

[Assets:Budget:Current:Bills]             1000 INR

[Assets:Checking]

= /^Expenses:Bills/

[Assets:Checking]                            1.0

[Assets:Budget:Current:Bills]               -1.0

2019/06/19 Bills paid

Expenses:Bills                             600 INR

Assets:Checking

At the end of the month, I would like to do an automated transfer of remaining 400 bucks to Assets:Budget:Accrued:Bills so that I can also know how much I have saved per category.

I was trying to make automated posting as following:

= /^Equity:Budget:Accrued/

[Assets:Budget:Accrued:Bills]

[Assets:Budget:Current:Bills]               = 0 INR

so that whenever I put a posting as follows at the end of month

2019/06/19 Transferring accrued

Equity:Budget:Accrued                         0 INR

Assets:Checking

I would be able to transfer whatever is leftover from current budget to accrued.

Please help me with finding a solution to achieving this.

Thanks,
Ashish
