Year-over-year calculations

Howdy-

 

Are there any reports or other mechanisms for calculating comparisons such as quarter-over-quarter or year-over-year?  I know how to do it manually, e.g. something along the lines of `diff -u <(ledger balance Income --begin 2019/01/01 --end 2019/03/31) <(ledger balance Income --begin 2020/01/01 --end 2020/03/31)` but I was curious if anyone has any tips or shortcuts for generating such reports.

 

(fwiw - this is related to the new PPP loans for small businesses in the US; one of the requirements is YOY gross income decline of 25% or more for any quarter in 2020)
