uls -ulsmv fit indices

Dear community,

I am conducting a CFA with categorical variables and I have three questions:

1. Would you recommend using the ULS or the ULSMV estimator?

2. Regarding model fit indices, is it advisable to examine the same indices as when using WLSMV (CFI, TLI, RMSEA, SRMR)?
   2.1. Would the acceptable cutoff values for these indices be the same?

3. Would these recommendations change depending on the sample size? I am working with two samples, one with approximately 220 cases and another with 1,810 cases.

En virtud de la Ley Nº20.393, sobre Responsabilidad Penal de las Personas Jurídicas por los delitos señalados en su artículo 1°, Fundación Luksic (“FL”) tiene implementado un Modelo de Prevención de Delitos. According to Law No. 20,393, regarding the Criminal Liability of Legal Entities for the offenses indicated in its article 1, Fundación Luksic (“FL”) has implemented a Crime Prevention Model. As a result, all communication through emails between FL employees and public officials, suppliers and third parties in general, must take place using institutional email addresses; that is, they cannot be conducted through private email accounts.

1. Would you recommend using the ULS or the ULSMV estimator?

I think for ordinal data "ulsmv" is a better option than "uls". and if your sample size is not low, "wlsmv" is better than "ulsmv" but you can compare results for both methods and if they are the same you can use wlsmv.
