Hello,
I am teaching a 12-hour introductory SEM course on July 4-6, as well as an 8-hour introduction to panel models on July 7-8. It will be taught in person this year, but it is also possible to attend remotely. They will be taught in the morning in Barcelona, Spain, so the time will unfortunately not be convenient to attend remotely from the Americas or eastern Australia.
I will of course use lavaan for instruction. As you can read in the course descriptions linked below, the approach is quite practical. The SEM topics will not be advanced, but they may still be of value to members of this group. The longitudinal course will include traditional cross-lagged panel models, as well as the random-intercept variety. If you have colleagues or students who could benefit from the course, please pass this link on to them.
There are also several other courses that may be of interest, also in the week prior and following.
Best,
