Hi!

I am trying to run lasmerge in QGIS, however it gives me an output error.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

It looks like your issue is all those blank entries for files to merge. Your LAStools command line is going to parse such that the -o argument is seen as the option to one of the -i flags. All those -i flags expect the next thing to be the file to input, so the pairs look sort of like this:
-i "C:\LAStools\C_57FZ2.LAZ"
-i C:\LAStools\C_57HN2.LAZ
-i -i
-i -i
-i -o
"C:/LAStools/Merged.LAZ"
Thus, the -o is never seen as a flag, it's an argument to a -i flag, so no output specified.

Hi Nino,
anyway, the plugin should not add the empty -i arguments.
We will have a closer look at this next week.

As fast solution:
Just do the job using the commandline:

C:\LAStools\bin\lasmerge -i C:\LAStools\C_57FZ2.LAZ -i C:\LAStools\C_57HN2.LAZ -o C:\LAStools\Merged.LAZ

Best regards,

Jochen @rapidlasso
