Hi everyone,

Are there records of sightings available to view anywhere? For example, if I wanted to know what species had been seen in Blackburn, including specific locations, are there records held somewhere showing this?

Try Brockholes Invertebrates group or East Lancs Invertebrates group on Facebook. The Dragonflies of Lancashire by Phil Smith/Steve White has a lot of information on sites etc.  Lancashire dragonfly group on Facebook has a lot of info etc.

I hold the BDS dataset for Lancashire of records going back to 2014.

I can let you have the information you're after if you let me know the names of the sites you're interested in plus a definition of the Blackburn area (preferably a list of 10km squares).

Hi Steve,

Thanks for this. At the moment I'm interested in what has been recorded in and around Witton Park area. It's for novel writing purposes as part of a PhD. It would be good to have information for other sites in the future also as I'm trying to be as accurate as possible.
