A Walk in the Woods

Hello Freethinkers,

At the January Freethinkers meeting, some members expressed interest in having a group of us attend one of the performances of "A Walk in the Woods" in which member Bradley Felix plays a principal role. It appears to be about the issues and time of the "cold war" between the USSR and the USA

The play is at Bravo theater, Hidalgo 441, Riberas del Pilar. We've chosen Friday, March 20 at 7:30 PM or Saturday March 21 at 4 PM as possible dates to attend. The cost is 350 pesos per person. Each performance takes about 2 hours, including intermission.

Some questions to consider are:

1. Do you want to attend a showing of "A walk in the woods" as part of our group?

2. Since our regular meeting date is March 19, should the theater visit be an additional event for March or replace our regular meeting?

3. On which of the 2 dates- March 20 or 21- would you like to attend the play?

4. Would you like to dine before the 7:30 PM show on 3/20 or after the 4 PM show on 3/21?

5, Dab has suggested conflict resolution as a good discussion topic.

What do you think? Other ideas?

Please share your opinions promptly, especially on items 1 & 2.

About seeing the production at Bravo Theater starring "our" Brad...  I'd like to attend the  March 21st, Saturday show at 4:00p.m  Dinner and discussion afterwards would be great!  

 Let's see how many of our regular meeting attendees are planning to go to this event..and then decide whether or not to hold the  usual Thursday meeting as well.

I plan to go on March 20th (the only day I am available) and even that is in question.

I'm not in favor of a discussion before or after the play. Too much for me.

We could devote our scheduled meeting, on the 19th, to Brad's topic to prepare us for the play.

Hello again, Freethinkers.

So far one person says he will perhaps attend Brad's play on March 20 

and 4 who will attend on March 21. 

I've had 13 RSVPs who say they will attend the monthly meeting on Feb 19.

That tells me there may not be much interest from group members in 

attending A Walk in the Woods.

Please respond if I misunderstand and you are interested.
