I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to the school year! We’re excited to kick off another fantastic season, and I wanted to share a few important updates and reminders:
PARENT ADMIN:
I’m excited to be your Parent Admin lead for this school year! My name is Amy Kaplan (Mila's mom), and I’ll be assisted by Sireesha Akula (Abir's mom). We’re here to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions throughout the year. Here’s my contact info:

PARENT MEETING ON 9/12:
Our first and ONLY in-person parent meeting for the fall term is on Thursday, September 12, from 5:30-6:30 PM in the lab. Your attendance is strongly encouraged as we’ll be going over the calendar, introducing our coach, mentors, and team captain, and discussing ways for parents to get involved. If you’re unable to attend, just let me know.
REGISTRATION:
Kathy Jordan recently sent out registration information with instructions and deadlines. Please make sure to register your student as soon as possible so they can start participating in the lab and activities.
COMMUNICATIONS:
To ensure you’re receiving all team updates, please add lakemonster_...@googlegroups.com to your contacts so our emails don’t get lost or filtered out of your inbox. We’ll be transitioning to a centralized communication app later this month (more details at the parent meeting), but for now, we’ll continue using this email format. Please make sure to keep an eye out for our messages!
