Attached are the results for Race 17 of this season along with the Final Standings. The last race of the season gave the 14 boats that came out a nice sail. The RC with Grayham's help set a W3 course starting at North Canoe with the windward mark due north about .7 miles away. The wind went CCW before the start which made for a drag race to the 1st mark. The fleet stayed tight to this mark. With the wind being skewed some what, it made for a fast reach down to the 2nd government mark. The team of Joia managed to hold their lead to North Canoe and back north to the finish. Congratulations to them with line honors and 1st on corrected time, followed by Stinger for 2nd and IKO IKO for 3rd. The final standings are in the book. Congratulations to Stinger 1st, Uncle Ludwig 2nd, IKO IKO 3rd, Cut Loose 4th and Woot in 5th. I want to thank Grayham Blackburn for helping me on the RC boat this season. Thanks to Alfie for his organization of the series along with Spencer Reggio and John Haller with the web site with the racing results etc. Thank You to John Carr for hosting the season end party at the ADK Pub and Brewery. A fun season was had and I will be back next year doing RC for your sailing enjoyment.
