Wednesday Night 2026 — Race 11

The winds for Race 11 were somewhat blustery out of the SW. The RC set a course of W4 with the windward mark at North Canoe government buoy. The start/finish was just north of the northern tip of Long Island. At the start IKO IKO was ocs and was hailed and started properly. The fleet proceeded to mark 1 at North Canoe with Stinger leading the fleet. On the downwind run to mark 2 several of the J/22's were in the chase, Brass Ring and Knot on Call. At the finish of leg 4 was Stinger for line honors but the corrected time of 1st place went to Knot on Call, followed VERY CLOSLY by Brass Ring for 2nd and Stinger for 3rd. There was a Raft Up held in the bay near Yankee for after race fun sponsored by John Carr who brought out a tug boat for the anchoring point.
