[kubevirt-dev] kubevirt v1.8 exception request for Live update NAD reference PR 16412

Hello, 

We would like to request a 7-day extension to merge the PR [1] implementing VEP 140: Live update NAD reference [2] please.
The PR/implementation itself touches only the NAD reference change and should not cause any regression.
The PR is in active review and is technically complete, along with unit/e2e tests. The remaining reviews focus solely on improving readability and code quality.

It would be great if we could Beta the Live NAD update in 1.8 to start gathering feedbacks and then GA it in 1.9.

Additionally, the PR primarily focuses on changes to network logic and is protected by a feature gate, so the risk of including it in v1.8 is minimal.
