Hey everyone!
Amim has mentored many windows engineers thus far and so this proposal comes as no surprise I'm sure.
As many of you know I've been quite busy with ongoing stuff at my new job, which is a total blast, and Amim has stepped up with others like Tatenda and Kulwant , to help shore up the operational readiness work.
Since he's lead much of that project and also was one of the originators of the windows svc proxy and sig windows dev tools projects, I want to propose he could take over for my place, as a Sig Lead - I think he's in a perfect situation to keep these projects going.
Amim, of course if this works for you - and others are on board, thanks so much for helping to keep these projects going forward....
I can work with him to transition things over in the interim. And I'm still around if folks want to reach out in #sig-windows on slack of course.
.... I think this might allow me to possibly to some heads down hacking on things like SWDT or the service proxy on the side (im still burning to figure out wether QEMU is an option)....
Of course this means I'll also step down (because we don't need 4 sig leads....) as well.
Jay
