Dear community,
We’ve been made aware of issues with obtaining the GPG key for Google’s package repositories. Kubernetes uses Google's package repos for hosting and publishing packages such as kubeadm, kubelet, kubectl, kubernetes-cni, and cri-tools.
The following URL is not accessible as of the weekend: "https://packages.cloud.google.com/apt/doc/apt-key.gpg". Trying to access it results in error 500.
This might affect users trying to install and upgrade packages. At this time, we don’t have a workaround for this issue and we kindly ask you to be patient and follow this thread for updates.
We’d also like to note that this affects only Debian packages. RPM packages are not affected as far as we know. Also, images and binaries are NOT affected by this issue.
Thank you for understanding!
