Mister Bobby Tables hath been nominated to a seat among the council of steering.

I, a humble man, feel a duty to not only provide a writ of support, but feel uniquely positioned to give supporting evidence as to the character of the nominee.

Unofficially, I've known Bob since 1997 where we met in a Babylon 5 java chat room (this clearly predates Web 2.0) Officially, we met in 2003. So I've known him for quite a long time and can speak "a bit" about him.

He doesn't do anything half-way. He never has. He once spent a week researching leaf blowers before settling on one. He then waited over a month till there was a better sale. This quality carries over to everything he does.

He loves this project. His passion for this project started back in October 2014. We worked at a hospital and needed to automate our container infra. "Hey Jeef, look at this project Google open sourced." Ever since then, Kubernetes was something he stayed on top of, and, ultimately started contributing to.

He cares about this community. We're all part of the contributor family, and we all do what we can to further this project along. Bob truly lives to make our lives as contributors better. This is his passion down to his core.

Let's be clear, I am incredibly biased. But I also don't think there's anyone else I'd rather see elected to steering.
