While we have been working on reworking kube-bind to be more user-friendly and usable, we understand that in the current climate, it's challenging to do so without a well-established and trusted governance model like CNCF.
As some of you might know, we have been discussing moving kube-bind under the umbrella of CNCF SIG-Multicluster, where we could continue the work we have been doing.
There is an email vote in the SIG-multicluster mailing list about this. (
https://groups.google.com/g/kubernetes-sig-multicluster/c/v3i5qGd3gmA) (Please let me know if you'd like me to forward it to you.)
As this changes the kube-bind governance model slightly, it would require the agreement or disagreement of existing kube-bind maintainers to proceed.
Do people support kube-bind potential move into Sig-Multicluster (assuming sig-mc agrees to host us in their respective voting).
