Suggestion: Search limits, maximum numbers of files to find (advanced)

I've found the need for an additional option in the search function.. limiting the number of files found. I have a drive fail and recovered the data, but i am reorganizing the files by type.  The search takes some time as there are many 1000's of files. waiting for search to find a reasonable amount of files at a time, then manually stopping the search and copying the files from the feedlist to the desired directory. A "number of files found" limit would helpful.

What's the problem with waiting for the search to complete and then
copying all the files at once?

it was from a nearly full 2TB drive. i've got 100's of thousands of files.
