Hello,

I am using Krusader on Linux Mint 17 64-bit laptop. I am having dual boot with Windows-7 in /dev/sda3. I need to know if there is a way to configure Krusader to list the mountable devices, like Dolphin.

Thanks.

Hi,

Just click on the lateral arrow on the MountMan icon on the main toolbar.

More on this:

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Yuri

I don't see anything in that drop down list. Also /dev/sda3 is not listed in the Mountman. Do I need to do anything to add that in the list?

Thanks.

Do not know what DE you are using but there are some advices (not Krusader-related).

KDE: Just use "Removable devices" module from System Settings to define mount options.

GNOME: System Settings > Removable Media

Then press MountMan button and mount it using context menu.

Hope this helps.

I did not get it right. I am using Mate. I opened the link you mentioned. Did you mean to edit /etc/fstab to automount the partitions? What is "...and mount it using context menu"? Could you please elaborate it?

Thanks.

Yes. I meant /etc/fstab and "Auto Mount Drives at System Startup" section of the tips.

I meant this context menu (sorry if it looks different for you, I use KDE and Mageia):

I don't want to automount all my devices at startup. Then if I search for something, it will take more time. I just need to mount my file system as and when needed.

Thanks.

In kde system tray click on Device Notifier Settings and disable automount devices. Now you can mount only needed drives.
