How to set up choosing of files like TotalCommander

In Total Commander what to choose few files I holding Ctrl and click the mouse.
If Ctrl is released, at the following click of a mouse there the choose will be reset.
How to adjust similar behavior in Krusader?

Are you sure you looked? Because with the default settings[1] the
behaviour is as you desired.

Yes, I'm sure. My settings on pic1. I have selected four files, then clicked a mouse on the last file, the selection has not been reset (see pic2).
I talked about selecting files as in TotalCommander (or as in Dolphin), but Your option of settings does not corresponding it.

Checking the following box should meet your needs:
"Settings | Panel | Selection Mode | Left mouse button selects"

Assuming that all the settings are in the same order in Krusader with
the language that you are using, I noticed that you only had the
following relevant setting checked "Double-click selects (classic)" I
have "Double-click selects (classic)" and "Left mouse button selects"
checked and I have the exact behavior that you desire.

I just noticed that you have "Shift/Ctrl-Left mouse button selects"
checked. When I check that box, and UNCHECK "Left mouse button selects"
I get the behavior that you describe in your message. The behavior that
you DON'T seem to want. I have t admit that if I wanted to set up
Konqueror to work the way that you seem to want it to work, I would
check the box that you checked "Shift/Ctrl-Left mouse button selects"

Again, if you have "Double-click selects (classic)" and "Left mouse
button selects" checked, I think you will have the selection behavior
that you desire.

Your settings in "pic1" do not correspond to the the screenshot I posted
in my last email. Please try the exact configuration shown in the
screenshot I linked in my last email.

Steven, thanks for the detailed answer, but the current file I want to see on allocated by contour without color (pic3, last file). It is convenient to me. Therefore, the option "Left mouse button selects" is UNCHECK.

It became clear that, my problem can not be solved through settings, so I solve this problem through modification a source code. Thank you all for your advices.

So-o-o-o-o-o not obvious! I deleted a bunch of files becouse of it. Select ONLY "Left Mouse Select" works OK.

What exactly to you is not obvious?! What the mode of allocation of files in Krusader can't be made as in TotalCommander? Or that highlighting of a line when using the option "Left Mouse Select" is inconvenient for me?
