i really like Krusader and have used it for many years.  One of the things that i use it for is to "back up" my files once a month.  i used to just use Search, the between date function (which also seems to have stopped working) and then Feed to List Box.  Then i used to just select the list of files and Copy, making sure that i also selected Preserve directory structure, to my Backup_4_Nov_2016 folder.  This produced several folders and their files.  i could then just copy this Backup folder to my backup hard disk.

Now, at the end of the process, when i try to Copy and select Preserve directory structure, when it starts to copy it immediately complains that the Backup_4_Nov_2016 folder exists and all it offers is Skip, Skip All, Cancel and something else i can't remember.  Anyway it doesn't work like it used to.  Sometimes it copies just one folder and its files and other times it manages to copy a couple of the folders and their files.

Am i doing something wrong?  What can i do to fix this?

i'm using 16.08.2 "Muddy Waters" on PCLinuxOS KDE 5 Plasma, fully updated.

KDE Frameworks 5.27.0; Qt 5.6.2 built against 5.6.1 and the xcb windowing system

Have a great evening!  :)

Well, now Syncronize works a little better.  It now seems to respect "Modified between" dates entered but when i finish and copy to the Syncronize results page and then select all of the files (not the folders) and try to copy them to an adjacent pane, i still don't get the "Preserve directory structure" that used to be available.  Will this ever be implemented again?

Again, Have a wonderful evening!  :)

Sorry for not getting any reply yet. I focused on other things but eventually will have to
deal with the synchronizer code (not very beautiful).

For you and everybody else: Best way for getting bugs fixed is using bugs.kde.org - not
this mailing list! Look/search if its already have been reported

https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?bug_severity=critical&bug_severity=grave&bug_severity=major&bug_severity=crash&bug_severity=normal&bug_severity=minor&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=CONFIRMED&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=NEEDSINFO&bug_status=VERIFIED&bug_status=CLOSED&order=Last%20Changed&product=krusader&query_format=advanced

and if not create a new report here: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=krusader

This way the developers have less work, the report is more visible and more persistent
(~forever). So you did it correct with the new report.

Cheers
Alex
