Hi, i have Lubuntu 12.04 and Krusader 2.4.0-beta1 "Migration". E.g. i can't associate mp3 files with Audacious Player. I tried right-click menu on the file > Open with > Other > Remember application association for this type of file, and mp3 is still associated with the default Gnome mPlayer:(( And next problem is, then some programs doesn't work at all, e.g. if I right click to mp3 file add choose Vlc nothing happens. I can't even open pdf file by defalt associated Document Reader. Why? Pls help me somebody... :]

What works for me on Linux Mint 13 MATE (a more or less close relative)
of your distro, with the same version of Krusader, is the application
"File Associations - KDE Control Module" by executing kcmshell4 filetypes
at the command line.

What is your experience with Lubuntu otherwise?

Today, associations works great, maybe system restart helped. And VLC does't work, because I run it under the root privileges. Thanks for tip with kcmshell4, it works too :]
