Hi Guys.

I'm moving my development from the original snickerdoodle (Ubuntu 14.04, etc.) to the current version of everything. I downloaded the SD card image (snickerdoodle.img.zip) as a starting point. With it, the device boots, the console works, WiFi works, but the "heartbeat" LED is dark. Doesn't that mean that the bitstream hasn't been loaded?
I also don't see a /dev/xdevcfg device.
Am I missing something, or is this expected behavior? I haven't yet tried our custom bitstream.

Also - sharp new web site! But double-check this part:

Thanks,

-Nick

Hi Nick,

The latest image no longer includes a default bitstream so there won’t be a heartbeat at boot unless a bitstream is manually/separately added. Once you load a bitstream, you should see a heartbeat.

Fixed the issue with the blog post – not sure what happened there… Thanks for the heads up!

Okay - I won't worry about it, then. But no /dev/xdevcfg with the default device-tree?
