Hi,

I am new in Krome, and I am trying to create some cooling subroutines for FLASH 4.5.

Here are the options I use:
./krome -n networks/react_primordial -flash -compact -report -cooling=ATOMIC

I have successfully run some tests. However, in some cases, the program got aborted and printed the following message:

 ERROR: wrong solver exit status!

 istate:           3

 iter count:         101

 max iter count:         100

 SEE KROME_ERROR_REPORT file

The file is in the attachment. Although I tried to read the file to find the cause, I can not realize the meaning.
I am curious about whether there is any document explaining the tables?

I also tried to use `-report` option, but it looks that the program did not evolve anymore in this case.

Thanks a lot,
Chia-Jung

Hi,

it seems that you have pretty high temperature there.
What is your setup with flash? what are you going to model?

Hi,

I set up my flash as following: `./setup <my_simulation_routine> -auto -with-unit=physics/Gravity/ -nxb=512 -nyb=512 +ug`

Part of runtime parameters are listed:
```
cfl = 0.8
small  = 1.0E-30
smallx = 1.0E-30
smlrho = 1.0E-30
tinitial = 1.040E+007
tmax     = 3.000E+015
dtmax    = 1.000E+010
iProcs = 16
jProcs = 16
kProcs = 1
```

I try to simulate the explosive procedure of a supernova in a minihalo. In the case, there is a 15-solar-mass star with about 10^51 erg energy in a 10^6-solar-mass minihalo.

Best regards,

Chia-Jung

Hi,

try to use react_primordial3, that is more stable and double-checked.
Let me know if it works.

cheers,

Hi,

I tried using react_primordial3, but it still could not work.

The KROME_ERROR_REPORT file is in the attachment.

Hello,
Although this is an old conversation. I still want to ask if you find a solution for this. I run GIZMO with KROME and get the same problem. The network I am using is reaction_galaxy_ism.  It seems the solver failed to converge and exit. But this do not happen everytime in my simulation. For different galaxy simulation with same setting, some of the simulations get this errors but some not.
