Is there a feature of health check for multiple targets in upstream being developed?

I'm using KONG v0.11.1, and observed that KONG currently has no health check mechanism for the targets in an upstream.

When I disabled one of the targets, KONG kept on forwarding requests to that target.

So I'm wondering is the feature of health check being developed by KONG team now? If yes, is there any release plan?

Not sure what you mean by “disabled a target”, but if you did a updated that target to a `weight=0` setting in Kong, then it should not have gotten any traffic anymore.
