per the documentation, Business Rule Task can be used to connect DMN: https://docs.kogito.kie.org/latest/html_single/#ref-bpmn-tasks_kogito-developing-process-services

I believe this recent blog post and demo uses BPMN2 and DMN: https://blog.kie.org/2022/01/data-enrichment-use-case-with-dmn-and-bpmn.html
