The true is, I try kNative + Kong and I add nginx like example. But my final poc is try with Kong and get istio with this api gw.

Ok? Then get request metrics in different planes. In prometheus (istio) and elastic (logs forwarder)

Hi Pablo,

I think you can use Nginx as a front-end load-balancer (e.g. to host at a custom domain or to composite several paths under a single URL). We have instructions on using Istio for doing subpath dispatch here: https://github.com/knative/docs/tree/master/serving/samples/knative-routing-go

If you wanted to write up an equivalent for nginx, it might be interesting to compare with the VirtualService routing.
