White-fronted Ibis, flock of Greater Yellowlegs, Short-eared Owls and more

 Great day in the Klamath Basin today.  The most unusual (unseasonal) sighting, I think, was a single White-faced Ibis in a flooded field along with 40-50 Greater Yellowlegs.  This field was on the south side of the road shortly after the unpaved Auto Tour Route along Sump 1B intersects with County Road 120.  Photo of a group of yellowlegs attached. The ibis flew before I got a photo.  Other highlights were a surprising number of Redheads in the reeds at Sump 1B (at least a dozen; photo of a pair attached), and great looks at Short-eared Owls in the late afternoon.  There were some near the start of the Lower Klamath Auto Tour Route, and more along the Straits Drain.  Photo of a dogfight between a Short-eared Owl and a Northern Harrier attached.
