Road Construction Update

Hi everyone,

I am sharing an update from WSDOT regarding a ramp closure that may affect your commute tomorrow.

The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th Street in Kirkland will remain closed through the morning commute on Monday, May 11.

During construction this weekend, crews encountered groundwater issues that require additional work before the ramp can safely reopen.

Additionally, please remember that 116th Ave NE between NE 100th Street and NE 95th Street daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  all week.

Please plan for extra travel time. Below is the road configuration starting Monday morning:

Further updates:

* The Northeast 85th Street interchange opening will be delayed until mid-morning as crews complete paving and striping. A signed detour will be in place.

* The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th will remain closed until late afternoon.
