King Cole: deep concerns

Dear Board Members,

I am writing to express my deep concerns about the current state of our condominium.
As a resident and homeowner, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of progress and poor management that has been demonstrated by the current board over the past 2 years.

We have all also become aware that the board has been spending a tremendous amount of money on lawsuits against many residents (and one in particular).
When concerns are raised about the cost, the board claims that it is acceptable because they believe they will win and the lawyer fees will be paid. However, this is a dangerous gamble with our money.
The State laws are different from the city laws, and in an appeal in front of the State, we may most likely lose the lawsuit. At the end of the day, this whole situation is going to cost us several hundred of thousands of dollars for nothing.
The board's use of our money for lawsuits, without proper consideration of potential losses, is highly concerning and not in line with responsible financial management.

Furthermore, I understand that the board is planning to raise a new multimillion-dollar new special assessment on top of the one we are already paying (while also conducting all meetings on Zoom, instead of in a normal meeting room as it has always been done in the past...).
This is unacceptable, especially when our maintenance fees are already extremely high and the condo is poorly maintained. The bathrooms, pool, landscaping, rooftop and lobby all leave much to be desired.

Additionally, several months ago, a referendum was organized by the board, in which the overwhelming majority of the condo requested amenities to be added on the rooftop, however, the board completely disregarded the results of this referendum, which is a clear indication of their disregard for the residents of the condominium.

Given the current state of the complex and the board's inability to meet the needs of residents, I am requesting that the board resign immediately.
It is clear that new leadership is needed to properly manage and maintain our condominium.

I really like the way this was written. 
Very straight forward and to the point. 
I think in the future continuing to write like this will be very good and without excess criticism and other items that may annoy people on the group we will probably have very few people dropping out of the group. 

Very well put, I really really like it. 

By the way, you did an awesome job at Pablo’s Tuesday 👍

I just read the board is planning, on April 10th, to raise our maintenance by TWENTY TWO PERCENT?

+22% in one year? Even though FSR, who was supposed to "cost us so much money" is not there anymore. Where are the savings?
And then, the same board is also planning to raise an $8million special assessment as soon they will be reelected.
And get all of that voted in a zoom meeting, most likely while driving their cars...


It is clear that new leadership is needed to properly manage and maintain our condominium.
