Hi all,
We have a requirement to hide delete actions for realms and users and also needs some ui and icons customizations, we did easily on 13.x but in 26.1.4 still struggling. Could you please help me either with any reference i.e. ui source code, it's building strategy, admin root level changes and admin themes creations.

Will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

I recently completed a new UI customization guide.  It's not published yet on the main web site and I'd love to get some feedback.

Here is the link to the nightly build version of it:

Hi Stan,

Thank you so much for the good work!

What seems to me is that there’s little info on how to update/fetch data that can be displayed on a custom page.

I wasn’t able, for example, to add a custom attribute on columns of the user view on the admin console, because it isn’t clear how that data is available, and sometimes it is not transparent that only a set of user data is available to be used on certain parts of the UX.

But overall, I like the modular way things work now, and it feels that the ux is very flexible to accommodate customizations. And the guide helps a lot!

Best,
Francis

Francis,

It sounds like we need a new section to the guide for handling data?

I won't have time to work on that for quite awhile, but I'd love new contributions to the guide if you have something to share.

Hi again,

I was going through the documentation and I’ve found a few stuff that would be nice to have a bit more details. I’d be happy to write some documentation about it.

- Writing your own admin theme - there are few information about this - a lot is about how to have an independent admin client, but many people certainly would like to add an attribute or two to a client, add a tab, and so on. These things.
- A good guide on what to do to create a new theme (react): how to setup the environment, add a theme name, build it, deploy it. A lot of people is not familiar to react

I remember I saw a while that there was some guides on how to build a theme on the `js` folder, but I completely forgot how to.

If I get a few information about this, I’d love to go through the process and document it well.

Cheers,
Francis

Thanks Stan!

I will have a look, but I need to do some tests first just to see if I understand the data flow between frontend and backend.

Best,
Francis
