need some one to explain me this parameter hostname-strict-backchannel

Hi,

Can anyone give me examples when setting the parameter hostname-strict-backchannel?

What I expect is when i set this parameter false, I can access the internal link, but this always redirects me to the external link which is setup by value of parameter hostname.

You can set Keycloak to resolve the hostname from request headers.

Which parameter that you mean?

I did set:

hostname-strict-backchannel=false

hostname-strict=false

But when I  tried to access the admin console via internal link, it will still redirect me the external link (which is configured under hostname=...)

Did you find any solutions to this?

I just accept the way it is. Acessing the login console page will be always redirected to the external dns name that you set under hostname parameter. But using the command or api, one can use external or internal link, both work.
