Hi,

Davinci middle school doesn’t have a lot of before and afterschool options. A lot of kids used to go to the Starbucks on 28th. It was frequented by the nearby high school at well. It would be cool if it could be replaced by a cool and welcoming place for kids. Might there be a community partner? I’m sure it could get family support. I’m told a lot of kids go to the Plaid Pantry to wait since the school has a 9:15 start time.

pie spot is open late and has plenty of inclusive snack and beverage options, and no alcohol. Nice and warm and close by. That's the best thing I can think of right now. But I will keep thinking!
