Hello Kerns Neighbors,

Attached is a link to the proposed agenda for our March 18 monthly meeting.

Please let me know if you'd like any adjustments.

Note that at 6:40 we will be voting on an interim board chair and treasurer.

Anyone on the board can run for these positions.

We can also add new board members who can run for these positions.

Hi Everybody,

I hope you are all well! 

I see I have 10 minutes in the March meeting to go over the 2 video projects I’d like to work on in 2026. I can give my 10 minutes to others if we don’t need to vote on this. 

In a nut shell these are the ideas. I would like the KNA to participate in creating 2 video projects this year. The first is a video that will showcase the coffee shops along 28th. Daniel Lymon and I did this same video idea in 2024, spotlighting the pizza spots along 28th. I’ll need a presenter, while I film. For reference, look at our Instagram page for the Pizza Tour. It was posted on 12/28/24. The second video project requires neighborhood participation. I would like to have community members talk about the people, places and things they love about Kerns. I have more details worked out that we can go over in April. 

 I’d like to start receiving board feedback and suggestions on what our social media should reflect. I’d love some music suggestions! Until last fall, what I posted was dictated by Rebecca Boenke. 

If the consensus is that we DO NOT need to vote on these 2 items, please give my 10 minutes to another speaker. It looks like there’s a lot of information to be covered in this month’s meeting. 

I’ll be Zooming in to the meeting this month.  I’m out of town. I look forward to being an active participant.

Good evening! 

I will try to make it on zoom for the meeting tonight, as I am on my way home from Beaverton and still have to pick up my son. Dave, I support you being president and am grateful for you stepping up! Elizabeth, both of those instagram ideas sound wonderful! As far as Kernside, we are working on the Kerns Street fair for June 20th! If you know of a business that would be interested in sponsoring this event, please reach out to me- booths for this events and more information for that will be available soon. We also have a wine walk on 28th and a few Keg Strongman events planned. Sorry to miss this meeting in person!

The Kernside Street Fair sounds great. I look forward to helping support it in various ways.
