Hey all, we talked a little bit about the next book, but I don't think we fully came to a conclusion?

A couple that were discussed:

Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson.  Fantasy, set in his larger fantasy world, but a stand alone book.  Plenty of copies available at the County Library.

Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse.  Fantasy, with South American cultural/mythological elements.  (Mo, is that right?)  First of a trilogy, so if you like finishing things, it might be committing.  Plenty of copies at the County Library.  (Didn't check City.)

Or generally go with a fantasy theme and people can do a choose your own fantasy?

Red Butte Concerts.  Is anybody aiming for any particular concerts this year?  I think I'm going to try to get tickets to Kaleo on June 17.

So good seeing everyone!
Scooter

Red Butte tickets open up tonight so I realized I should start making a plan. And Charlie and I are probably going to get Kaleo tickets as well! That might be our only one in the first wave. Would love to go with you.

I like the sound of Black Sun more than Tress of the Emerald Sea. I don't read a lot of fantasy, so if we were to do a choose your fantasy I'd probably pick a Neil Gaiman book since I've enjoyed others of his.

Nuts, I’m out of town for Kaleo. That would be a fun show.

I generally like fantasy, so I’m happy with either option. Someone also mentioned ruined the Three body problem, which is on my list too :)
