Possibly. A WR is in play as well, though this year's crop isn't all that impressive.

If their top 1 or 2 DTs are already gone by 9, i would look for them to try and trade down.....but not sure who would want to trade up with them. Not a great class this year overall. I'm not nearly as sold on the Indiana QB as everyone else seems to be....especially since he'll be going to one of the worst run organizations in team sports.

Walker is a bit of a gamble with his injury history and complete inability to catch a football out of the backfield....but so what, Reid doesn't seem to like throwing to RB's anymore anyway unless it's behind the line of scrimmage.

Kelce's decision was the right one for both him and the team. Reportedly he could have made more money elsewhere but why? Money aint an issue when yer marring one of the richest women in the world. Plus it's his instincts and familiarity with Mahomes that took him from good/great to elite/GOAT.....try doing that in one year with Rodgers in Pittsburgh or Dak in Dallas. Wasn't gonna happen.

Haven't seen the number yet but i'm guessing it's in the range of 1 year, $12-$15M...more than this org would normally be in a position to play a TE on the downside of his careef....but legacy and fan connection means more in Kansas City than it does in most cities, so overpaying that "legend" tax on Kelce is smart business by Hunt.

I agree with you.  Though it looks like we jusy signed a DT free agent from NE so maybe an elite WR is in play. We need a tall strong receiver who can get contested balls.

Be nice, even when you don't want to!

Good calls. It'll be an interesting draft/trade season to be sure. I had to look up Kenneth Walker. He fills a sizable hole in the offense to be sure. He's a good get.
Is he actually lousy out of the backfield or just not used in that fashion? Maybe he learn.
I'd like them to make a play for some beast DE. Maxx Crosby would be great. He's chased Mahomes enough already. Or Miles Garrett. I suppose that they're out of our price range. But Miles has been tearing up offenses for no return. Offer him millions in incentives and turn him loose. I bet Chris Jones and Mahomes might cover his tab. They'd both benefit greatly.
My patient, who played for MIch St, is blown away from some of the combine stats. They have LB's running 4.45, OT's at 4.8. Etc. Even some WR's with serious velocity.
It's up to Veach and Reid to find the diamonds in the rough.
