We're in NO position to make judgement on this case. Unlike the Minnesota shooting where we have video evidence, here we are stuck with witness testimony,
I had always heard that grand juries could indict a ham sandwich; but I like the shadow analogy.
This goes into the same dustbin as Jeannine Pirro's inability to indict US congresspeople for pissing off Hegseth for telling the truth. In that case, actually SIX cases, she couldn't get ONE grand juror to vote for indictment.
Up until ICE got into the Gestapo business, there was a presumption that police in general acted reasonably. So when a shooting occurred under this kind of circumstance, a car being used to threaten police, we tended to give the police the benefit of the doubt. With ICE, that courtesy has evaporated. We've been witness to too many bad acts to trust anything they say. Glad that they now wear body cams.
Hoping against hope that we haven't poisoned the relationship with regular police more than it already is.
ICE activity has caused a ripple effect of damage that likely will persist for a long time
