The 2nd stroke of 七 and the 5th stroke of 𠮟 are stroke SW and not stroke SWG in the Kaisho MCBK1 font.  Kaisho MCBK1 | Fonts Specimen | MORISAWA Fonts | Morisawa Inc.

Please make Kaisho font versions of 七 and 𠮟 with the 2nd and 5th strokes, respectively.

Nobody has done very much graphical work on the characters since they were publicly released around 2008, which is now 17 years. If you want this job to be done your best bet is to do it yourself, so find some SVG editing software and make the change. There is Inkscape available for free, but each time it edits a character it adds enormous amounts of cruft to it which then have to be filtered out again. Perhaps there is some online JavaScript SVG editor which we could repurpose. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi everybody,

to change just the stroke order, you probably need only a text editor, and an SVG editor is already too much or only necessary for checking results. Some general ideas about XML are helpful, and an XML editor might be handy, too.

There were times, when the strokes were in the same order in the files as they should be written. Now, we have some sort of overlap with grouping of elements.

Changing stroke typ should work with a text editor, too.

For changing stroke shapes an SVG editor would be needed.

Unfortunately, I don't have time, to look into this at the moment. But, I have also some ideas to make the characters closer to real hand-written characters. So, I am also thinking of a sort of revision of the characters.

Best wishes

Ulrich

I updated 七 here. All I'm waiting for is for KanjiVG's creator, Ulrich Apel, to approve of this change.

I don't think a total revamp of the entire KanjiVG repository is necessary. I think that only changing stroke 2 of 七 to Stroke SW ()is necessary. That also means changing "M43,20c1.38,1.38,2.15,3.25,2.15,5.26C45.15,29.5,45,71.84,45,76c0,10.5,2.25,12.25,20.25,12.25c18.75,0,20-3.75,20-12.31" to "M43,20c1.38,1.38,2.15,3.25,2.15,5.26C45.15,29.5,45,71.84,45,76c0,10.5,2.25,12.25,20.25,12.25c18.75,0,20-3.75,20-2.5" in line 44 of the 04e03.svg file. I'm afraid that nobody will approve if a newbie edits a file. Can anyone please change stroke 2 to ㇄ and "M43,20c1.38,1.38,2.15,3.25,2.15,5.26C45.15,29.5,45,71.84,45,76c0,10.5,2.25,12.25,20.25,12.25c18.75,0,20-3.75,20-12.31" to "M43,20c1.38,1.38,2.15,3.25,2.15,5.26C45.15,29.5,45,71.84,45,76c0,10.5,2.25,12.25,20.25,12.25c18.75,0,20-3.75,20-2.5"?

This is not the stroke order but the graphical shape.

I'm not aware of any cases where the stroke order has changed in the files.
