PyKaldi - A Python Wrapper for Kaldi

Hi everyone,

I wanted let Kaldi community know about our Python wrapper for Kaldi.

We have been working on it since last June.

We have a poster at ICASSP tomorrow. Unfortunately I am not at the

conference due to visa issues but my colleague Victor is going to be

there to answer any questions people might have. If you are at the

conference, you can check out our poster in the following session

That would be very useful for other speech related machine learning tasks as well as ASR.

I think some examples might help.  I.e. examples of the kinds of things you can do in python using PySpeech.

I remember that they have some very intuitive examples on the poster. But I cannot find such examples in the document.

Thanks for the kind words. We hope the kaldi community will enjoy working with pykaldi as much we do.

I agree that we need more examples on the repo. The examples in the poster should be in the repo but I will double

check we haven't missed anything. I haven't had the opportunity to add larger example setups yet since I am very busy with

other things for a while now but I intend to spend more time on pykaldi in the coming months.
