Namaste Friends,
I assume you already heard the sad news on Mt. Everest. At least of 12 of our Sherpa friends lost their life while helping others.
Those of you who have been to Nepal know about Sherpa and their lifestyles. Sherpa are known on their great kindness and helping others. They climb mountain for living. This accident happened while they were helping other climber's dream of reaching to the top of Mt. Everest.
Please join me and all others who saddened by this accident in our thoughts and prayers. Pray for the peace of the eternal soul and pray to provide strength to the family members in this difficult moment. More importantly wish for the better treatment and quick recovery of those who injured. Also pray for the safety of those currently involving on search and rescue operations.
I looked the list of victims and see few familiar names. It feels more sad when you personally know someone. I thought to share the sadness with my extended A&BC family.
Bikal
John and I heard about this last night and were deeply saddened. I am so, so sorry, Bikal.
Namaste.

Hello Bikal and all,
Oh, the grief I felt when I first heard the news. One of the special parts for me of our trip to Imja Tse was getting to know the Sherpa people as a culture and specific Sherpa friends who were our guides. I remember our visits to their homes and school, as well as how kind and helpful they were along the trail. I felt truly blessed to get to know them. Though I am glad to hear that probably none of those who were with us on our trip were killed or injured in this accident, I understand what a close-knit community this is, and the accident will touch all of them. My prayers are with them.
Bikal, my particular condolences go to you.
