Is anyone using the Chromebook Inventory add-on for updating OUs, asset numbers or locations in Google Admin? I'm exporting devices just fine to my spreadsheet, but when I click the update button, absolutely nothing happens. Thanks!

I use it to pull down for inventory purposes when someone needs the info, but I’ve never used it to push data back…

I used it a couple years ago to retire about 1300 Chromebooks.  It worked great, however, there have been several updates to the Google API and some of them have been retired, so if the dev of this utility hasn't updated it in a while, push back may be broken.

I do everything now with GAM.  If you don't mind a CLI utility, it can manage Chromebooks as well as just about every other aspect of GSuite.  I will be using it to retire about 1000 Chromebooks over the summer.

We used push back to update OUs this last summer.

Are you keeping all fields in the sheet when you try to update?

We tried just using the serial number field and the OU field at first, but that didn’t work. When we kept all fields in the sheet and pushed back; then it worked.

Thank you everyone for your responses. Even though I wasn't able to get the update to work in Chrome, Firefox worked.
Have a great day!
