MFA Microsoft Exchange and K-9

My employer recently decided to require MFA to reach our e-mail server.  Generally, this goes MS Authenticator or Authy (what I use).  Is there a way to setup the K-9 client (android) to work with this?  Note that application specific passwords are not an allowed option.
