Hello,
Is it possible to have an option that delays the actual sending of a message by a few seconds and shows a button that allows the user to cancel the sending of a mail during this delay?

When you're composing an email that you don't want to send immediately, there is an option to "save as draft". That allows you to delay sending the message for as long as you like (months even). When you're ready to send it, open your drafts and send it.
